We need your help!
Thirty years ago, a momentous decision was made between friends wishing there were more socializing options outside of DC, and Dulles Triangles was born. This year, to mark our thirtieth anniversary—making us one of the longest-lived LGBTQ+ social groups in the DC area—we’re throwing a bash to end all bashes, our 30th Anniversary Gay-la.
The big day is Saturday, December 11th, starting at 7:00 PM!
A party of this scale is expensive—that’s where you come in.
Many Members lost financial ground or faced other hardships during the height of the pandemic. We know we will need to charge admission to cover our costs and we’d like to be able to defray some of the cost of the Gay-la through sponsorships so we’re not putting the event out of the financial reach of our members.
Under normal circumstances, we would have spent the past year raising money to help cover costs. The lockdown put an end to all of our fundraising and to help our Members, we suspended all dues.
The Club lost some $10,000 in fundraising opportunities. We are looking for sponsors to help fill this funding gap.
Why should you be a Sponsor?
Whatever your organization does, you need people to do it and customers to pay for it. Sponsoring this event is a way for you to reach our Members, potential clients and future customers.
With over 1,500 contacts across our mailing list and social media, Dulles Triangles represents a diverse group with significant buying power. Members tend to support those who support us by holding events at their businesses, buying from them, and using their services.
We also represent a huge pool of talented candidates and access to that pool is a valuable commodity for employers—especially those who actively seek top performers from diverse communities.
In addition to those you directly reach through sponsorship, we’ll help you to advertise in our weekly eMinder email, on our Web site, and on our social media platforms to further enhance your outreach and build long term value.
Sponsorship has its benefits
It’s all about visibility for your organization and brand. Being a sponsor raises your visibility among our Members, so that they think of you when they’re shopping, eating, looking for a new home, securing a loan, buying a car, or considering a new
employment opportunity.
We have created sponsorship packages to accomplish many marketing goals. Each package includes brand visibility to Members at this event—and possibly future events—by displaying your brand on signs, on tables, and in our Program Book. Every package includes advertising on our Web site. Some include posts in our weekly member eMinder and on our social media platforms to further raise your visibility among our Members.
Drive business to your organization by adding items to our Event Bag. This can include discount coupons, teasers to get people to visit your business, product samples, business cards, brochures, or branded merchandise that will keep you in our thoughts long after the party is over.

What are the standard packages?
Each level of sponsorship brings its own array of features and
options.
You’re probably familiar with sponsorship “levels,” often labeled Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. We’ve developed ours to fit our Masquerade Ball theme, using the names of masks from one of the grandest of Masquerades: the famous Carnevale di Venezia, or Carnival of Venice.
We will use images of these masks wherever we list or display sponsors by sponsorship level.
Pierrot: $50
