DTs Members and Friends,
A reminder, regarding COVID-19 guidelines: Virginia Department of Health is currently reviewing CDC’s updated recommendations for fully vaccinated individuals and will be updating their guidance in the coming weeks. Their current guidelines are below for your review. We will continue to keep everyone abreast of changes as VDH and CDC update guidance. https://www.cdc.gov/.../fully-vaccinated-guidance.html
As a reminder, vaccination is the most important public health action we can take to end the pandemic. Vaccination is FREE and available to everyone in Virginia aged 12 and over. To find a vaccination site, go to vaccinate.virginia.gov today. https://vaccinate.virginia.gov/
Some counties have also recently updated their guidelines. Fairfax County updated their guidelines on August 3, 2021.
“Based on updated guidance released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) last week, we recommend that everyone, including individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19, wear a mask in public indoor settings.
As the number of COVID-19 cases has continued to increase with the spread of the Delta variant, this recommendation is based on the Fairfax Health District moving from moderate level of COVID-19 transmission to substantial transmission.”

Remember, Dulles Triangles Board urges all Members to take appropriate precautions if they choose to participate in in-person activities (and if you haven’t been vaccinated yet, please do!). To give everyone plenty of options for socializing, we’re holding both in-person and online Club-sponsored activities and encourage Members to consider online options when appropriate.
